چکیده

In this study, a series of zeolite-X-supported different crystal phases MnO2 (α-MnO2, β-MnO2, γ-MnO2, and σ-MnO2) catalysts were prepared via solid-state diffusion method high-heat treatment to explore their low-temperature NH3-SCR performance. All the featured typical octahedral zeolite X structures manganese dioxides species various types dispersed across support surface. Throughout entire temperature range reaction, γ-MnO2/X catalyst had highest NO conversion. Additionally, β-MnO2/X, γ-MnO2/X, σ-MnO2/X nearly 100% N2 selectivity, whereas α-MnO2/X lowest selectivity (about 90%) below 125 °C. Moreover, demonstrated superior acidity capacity reduction ability compared with other three catalysts. contained essential intermediates NH2NO NH4NO3 species, which are SCR reaction. More acid sites nitrate existed on than catalysts, thereby boosting

In Situ Spectroscopic Studies of Proton Transport in Zeolite Catalysts for NH3-SCR

Proton transport is an elementary process in the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides by ammonia (DeNOx by NH3-SCR) using metal-exchanged zeolites as catalysts. This review summarizes recent advancements in the study of proton transport in zeolite catalysts using in situ electrical impedance spectroscopy (IS) under NH3-SCR reaction conditions. Different factors, such as the metal ca...

Low-temperature SCR of NO with NH3 over USY-supported manganese oxide-based catalysts

A series of catalysts of manganese oxide, manganese–cerium and iron–manganese oxide supported on USY (ultra-stable Y zeolite) were studied for the low-temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia in the presence of excess oxygen. It was found that MnOx/USY have high activity and high selectivity to N2 in the temperature range 80–180 8C. The addition of iron and cerium oxid...

Improved low temperature NH3-SCR performance of FeMnTiO(x) mixed oxide with CTAB-assisted synthesis.

FeMnTiOx mixed oxide is prepared by the CTAB-assisted co-precipitation method, and the transformation of anatase into rutile is inhibited by CTAB to some extent. The catalyst obtained in the present work shows nearly 100% NO conversion at 100-350 °C, more than 80% N2 selectivity at 75-200 °C, and excellent H2O durability for the selective catalytic reduction of NO by NH3 with a space velocity o...

COMBINED MERCURY REMOVAL AND LOW TEMPERATURE NH3-SCR OF NO WITH MnOx/TiO2 SORBENTS/CATALYSTS

MnOx/TiO2 catalysts/sorbents were investigated for flue gas purification via the simultaneous low-temperature NH3-SCR of NO and elemental Hg capture, in the temperature range 25-300 °C. In particular, the effects of the Mn precursor salt (acetate vs. nitrate) and of the TiO2 textural properties (nanotubes vs. random mesopores) on both deNOx and Hg capture efficiencies were addressed. The cataly...

Low-temperature SCR of NO with NH3 over noble metal promoted Fe-ZSM-5 catalysts

We have reported previously the excellent performance of Fe-exchanged ZSM-5 for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia at high temperatures (300–400 C). In this work, we found that the reaction temperature could be decreased to 200– 300 C when a small amount of noble metal (Pt, Rh, or Pd) was added to the Fe-ZSM-5. The SCR activity follows the order Pt/FeZSM-5 > Rh/Fe-ZSM-5 > Pd...
